 Techstreet’s Bold New Chapter: Why We’re Going All-In on Agentic AI

At Techstreet, we’ve always believed the best technology doesn’t just solve problems — it orchestrates intelligence, adapts to uncertainty, and moves with the speed of human thought. That’s why today, we’re making a company-wide pivot to focus on Agentic AI.

This isn’t just a trend. It’s a new layer of intelligence that we believe will define the future of software — and we intend to help build it.

What is Agentic AI?

Unlike traditional AI models that passively generate outputs, agentic systems can:

  • Interpret intent

  • Make decisions

  • Use tools

  • Evaluate their own results

  • Take meaningful action on your behalf

They are autonomous actors — capable of chaining reasoning steps, calling APIs, summarizing options, and refining their own behavior. These aren’t just chatbots or copilots — they’re collaborative AI workers.

Why This Shift — and Why Now?

As we build platforms in highly technical domains — from BarrelDNA (our bourbon barrel tracking and ID system) to Bluebird (our smart social media architecture) — we’re increasingly seeing the limits of hand-coded workflows.

Agentic AI changes the game by:

  • Letting us build faster, smarter systems with fewer resources

  • Opening up new possibilities for human-AI collaboration

  • Enabling every app we build to reason, act, and improve autonomously

From Code to Cognition

Our developers are now building tool libraries and microservices not just for human users — but for intelligent agents to use. We’re learning to build systems where reasoning happens at the edge, not only in the cloud.

We’re experimenting with:

  • Google Cloud’s Vertex AI Agent Builder

  • HuggingFace’s agent framework

  • Custom RAG + tool-calling workflows that blur the line between UI and AI

In every case, we’re finding opportunities to automate what used to require hours of development, QA, and decision-tree planning.
